Welcome to Via Latina. By using our website at vialatina.app or any associated applications (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Via Latina is operated by Skybound Systems Inc. ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").
Via Latina is an educational web application designed to help Classical Conversations homeschool families practice Latin vocabulary, grammar, and other CC curriculum subjects. The Service includes vocabulary drills, grammar exercises, an AI-powered tutor, timed quizzes, progress tracking, and achievement systems.
Some features of Via Latina are available without an account. Creating an account allows you to save progress across devices and access premium features.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
For users under 13, a parent or legal guardian must create and manage the account in accordance with our Privacy Policy and COPPA requirements.
Free tier: Provides limited access to vocabulary drills and grammar reference materials at no cost.
Beta access: During our beta period, all features are available to all users at no cost. The beta period may end at any time with reasonable notice.
Paid subscriptions: When paid plans become available, subscription fees will be clearly displayed before purchase. Subscriptions are processed through Stripe and renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time, and access will continue through the end of your billing period.
Refunds: We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at skyboundsystemsinc@gmail.com if you believe you are entitled to a refund.

All content, features, and functionality of Via Latina — including text, graphics, logos, software, and design — are owned by Skybound Systems Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
"Classical Conversations" is a trademark of Classical Conversations Inc. Via Latina is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Classical Conversations Inc. We are an independent educational tool designed to complement the CC curriculum.
Henle Latin is a product of Loyola Press. References to Henle Latin vocabulary and lesson structure are used for educational interoperability.
The AI Tutor is a learning aid powered by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may occasionally contain errors in grammar explanations, translations, or educational content. The AI Tutor is not a substitute for a qualified Latin instructor. We recommend verifying important translations and grammar rules with authoritative sources such as Henle Latin textbooks.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
We do not guarantee any specific educational outcomes. Via Latina is a study tool designed to supplement — not replace — the Classical Conversations curriculum, community day instruction, and parental guidance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skybound Systems Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, but we will honor any data deletion requests per our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Larimer County, Colorado.
